Not strictly sold as an antivirus product. The Free version is always part of an IT Techie’s toolbox as it removes malware from infected PCs, there is not much that it can’t remove. It also helps as a check to make sure your paid-for Anti-virus is doing it’s job. However, for a small once only cost you can get Malwarebytes Pro, this runs in the background looking for system changes and even blocks access to potential malacious websites. If nothing else, buy this product. It works alongside most AV products and compliments very well.
